Andrew Raible, Co-Founder & Executive Director - Kids of Kathmandu
Andrew Raible is the Executive Director of Kids of Kathmandu, a nonprofit he co-founded in 2010 after volunteering at an orphanage in Nepal. It started as a small project helping 49 orphans and grew into a big school-building effort.
With Andrew’s help, the group has built several schools in Nepal using eco-friendly designs. They teamed up with Acts of Kindness Collective for four schools and recently finished one funded by the Japanese embassy.
With a background in furniture design, Andrew focuses on making schools that are strong and beautifully built to inspire students.
Now, after 15 years, Kids of Kathmandu is working to expand. Andrew is focused on building a strong team and creating a long-term plan to ensure the organization keeps growing and making an impact.
