Justin Smith is the Executive Director of Catalyst Kitchens, a nonprofit that helps organizations fight poverty through culinary job training.
Since 2009, Catalyst Kitchens has grown to 104 member nonprofits across the U.S. Justin joined in 2017 as a chef trainer and later became its first executive director in 2022.
With Justin’s guidance, the network shares best practices, connects members and supports programs like job training, social enterprises, and hunger relief.
Justin believes food can bring people together and create real change. He’s passionate about building strong relationships that help communities thrive.
