Tucker Piner, Chief Executive Officer - Tucks Travels
Tucker Piner started Tucks Travels, a nonprofit that helps low-income families get passports and sends students on their first trips abroad. The group believes travel is a way to learn and works to make it more affordable.
Even though it’s a new organization, Tucks Travels has already made a big impact. Last year, they helped 58 students get passports.
Tucker works with libraries, post offices, and schools to create travel opportunities for young people. He’s also teamed up with education departments to help students who want to explore the world.
For Tucker, the best part is seeing families realize that traveling to another country is possible. He’s passionate about helping people dream big and see beyond their own communities.
His advice for running a nonprofit? Surround yourself with people who believe in your mission.
